EAT // The Cabbagetown @ The Mercantile. This place has been passed time after time until after a stop at San Francisco Coffee I popped in. Not only is the wine wall impressive but the cute deli had an extensive list of delicious sandwiches. It was imperative to try the funky sounding sandwich, The Cabbagetown, which includes multigrain bread, peanut butter, thai chili paste, apples, raisins, cucumbers + arugula. Before you judge - just try it. It's vegetarian AND vegan.
SEE // Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival - King Kong @ Fox Theater. The classic 1933 version of the movie will play at 2:00 + you can get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the legendary theater at 11:30am. Something special about that Fox Theater + what's better than sitting in a beautiful, cool room with these scorching temperatures. Think it's one of the best spots in this city.
DO // Launch Party for Brother Moto. These motorcycle riding, coffee loving guys deemed "Atlanta Pot Hole Dodgers" are bringing something pretty amazing to Atlanta + I can't wait to see it blow up. Come out for their "Summer shin-dig" which includes a Moto-booth, awesome vendors + maybe even a tattoo booth. I'm telling you these guys are going to kill it in this city. The future: a coffee shop for the moto-curious. Be there this Saturday at King Plow 6:00-9:00.
Keep hydrated this weekend!
