EAT // The Grilled Cheese from Book House Pub. One of the best cheese sandwiches in the city (mainly because of their charred tomato dipping sauce). Also with an extensive list of good local beer, this place is a hidden gem. Make sure to sit outside on their back patio - you'll feel like you're in another world with the strung lights, wooden tables and jungle-like feel.
SEE // The incredible instillation by Plywood People at Atlanta's Museum of Design. PP is an innovative community here in Atlanta that sets out to address social needs. One of their many projects is creating billboard bags, but more importantly creating jobs for refugees who fled conflict for freedom. This installation shows how the billboards become bags. Check it out!
DO // Summer Indie Craft Experience. The best of Atlanta's local craft + vintage vendors can be found in this one room. Go prepared to pull out that wallet + spend some cash. $5 admission gets you in. Plan to leave with lots in hand. From photographers to flower crowns to apparel. Support local.
