EAT // Frozen Yogurt. Tried out Vintage Frozen Custard on the Westside last weekend. While I think I'll just stick with the standard custard (no toppings) next time, it still hit the spot. The weather is getting warmer + the humidity is creeping in, which obviously means ice cream everyday.
SEE // It's the WORLD CUP! There are plenty of places to watch the big games around town. A favorite spot, Brick Store Pub. They'll be playing every game upstairs in their belgian bar. Three Taverns Brewery down the street brewed a Euro-style pilsner just for the World Cup called Pils Munidal. It will be pouring at The Brick Store and many other game playing spots.
DO // Picnic in the park. A few weeks ago an evening birthday picnic was had at Piedmont Park. It was magical + I highly suggest you do it. Piedmont Park allows you to set up anywhere you'd like. There are lots of spots to choose from. Find a few trees + set up camp. Don't forget to bring battery-operated strung lights from IKEA.
happy father's day, dads.
