Allison Song // local florist + stylist is introducing subscription flowers to Atlanta. A brilliant, new concept - flowers are delivered to your door on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. I had the great pleasure of being a trial member for the first run + I'm sold.
Here's a little more about subscription flowers from the creator herself.
What are subscription flowers? Subscription flowers are chosen by each customer based on their preferences of style, price, and schedule. Similar to the concept of other subscription services, I will be providing simple arrangements to a customer based on the options they have chosen. A customer can order a minimum subscription of 3 months or for as long as they'd like. They can also have the option of purchasing a subscription as a gift.
What made you decide to do subscription flowers in Atlanta? My love for flowers always has me thinking of new ways and ideas to work with them and to spread joy with them. This idea came to me earlier this year, but I wasn't planning on pursuing it until much later since I already had other projects on my plate. But then, a friend randomly emailed me telling me about a day dream she had where she could have pretty florals in her home, but not always have to go to a grocery store to buy them. She even suggested I offer a bi-weekly service where I can make floral arrangements for people. It was SPOT ON and I couldn't deny how perfect the coincidence was, so I decided to just go for it.
When will subscription flowers start to be offered? I am still in the beginning stages of this service, but I hope to have an official shop tab on my website in the next few weeks.
Is there a particular day of the week you'll be delivering? I plan to deliver arrangements every Monday so that my customers can have a bright way to start their weeks off. For customers who want to save on delivery costs, I am planning on have a free pick-up location in Atlanta.
