A new little series starting on the blog is "Local Hands". There are so many unbelievable artists in Atlanta and it's only right to explore them too. After attending Indie Craft Experience this past weekend, it was evident that creativity beams from this city.
So, I'd like to feature a few of the vendors.
1. Leili Kasraie
I'm a HUGE fan of Leili Kasraie's work and the artist herself.
Leili has the perfect eye for the jewelry she creates.
Each piece is so unique
Leili's metal on metal work is impeccable.
See for yourself...
Photos don't do justice to the work of Sarah Watts.
The hands of this artist are incredible.
The typography and fine detail that is illustrated into her pieces are simply irresistible.
Sarah's magical pieces somehow come to life in print.
There's not one that I like better than the next.
3. Native Bear
I've been a big fan of Native Bear for some time.
There's something about Leela's work that speaks my language.
The natural elements that are included in her work distinguish her amongst the rest.
I just want it all.
Native Bear is currently raising money through Small Knot to bring more pretty to the city.
There are 2 days left, so please donate
4. So Worth Loving
Where to begin with this family...
I was probably most excited to swing by their booth at ICE and I was ever so pleased.
The hands of Eryn Erickson have built such an inspiring and supportive cause & place.
The empowerment of "so worth loving" does something unspeakable, explaining why we all want to be a part of it.
It's a move that everyone must join.
If not for the goodness it prevails, then for the love of yourself.
"SWL is a lifestyle and a way of thinking. We exist to embrace your past & empower your future through fashion and community"
Donate to So Worth Loving so they can travel the country spreading the word!
You couldn't miss this cheerful booth.
So many pretty colors & handcrafted things.
The hands behind R-Ki-Tekt are that of Kel Cadet-Lyons.
Her personality so perfectly coincides with her work; bright and lovely.
Here is an artist where you are able to see the passion and precision through the craft that is created.
6) Flower Crown Society
Really looking forward to the next Indie Craft Experience!
